Didn't boo at the game myself, but it was definitely directed at the bench for taking off Xavi over Richie. It was a very similar vibe to when Nuno took off Moura. Lots of 'he has no clue' and 'why Xavi when Richie is useless' mutterings in the South stand.

The reason it was so tense & terrible was b/c every time we went forward Richie lost the ball, missed a pass or wasn’t in position.
Can’t let 1 goal distract from what happened up to that point.
