What is their texture? Hard like a shell or more like the plasticky stuff inside a squid? I always think one would look nice on the mantle piece but I guess it would smell bad very quickly.

Wow! You’re having an incredible trip. Is it with a tour company or visiting independently? I went nearly 20 years ago before these hides were set up and the species you’ve had were the stuff of legend! I need to go back!!

Funnily enough I caught up with the Drinker on Saturday - when one flew into the pub we were having dinner!! (The Sheppy out on the Somerset levels. Nice meal, good cider. )
