Kill the Newsletter is a great project (for turning newsletters to RSS feeds).
But why do none of the commits have messages?

Writing a custom WordPress theme+plugin for a work project and WP provides a ton of helper functions for backend stuff like adding REST endpoints, sanitization and user roles.

WP kinda underrated as a backend. Granted, prob not as batteries included as Django or Laravel but can be an option.

Wasted so much trying to find why css grid was acting up. Realized it was because my math for creating 3 equal columns wasn't adding up. I have no idea why I even used fractions instead of 1fr.

Finally got around to redo-ing my blog / portfolio site. It's a bit barebones for now but the idea was to get it live quickly and improve later. All my past attempts have been stuck in development so here's to hoping I actually post more and improve it.

Finally redo-ing my blog - Sujal's Blog
This post might be a bit all over the place but I’m trying to convey all my ideas and ensure this gets published instead of being stuck in perfection hell. I also haven’t written something long-form i...

I've got a bunch of articles and videos saved to Raindrop for when I'm bored.
Problem is, when I'm actually bored, none of those things interest me. Wonder if a feature to randomly suggest / sort articles would solve those

Great insights on funding OSS development. Bit of a contrast from the usual Twittersphere MRR SaaS.

No shade on those guys. I know there's good money there and I would like to dabble in that space someday.

But I do like how this & Hyprland's monetization feels respectful of users' ability to pay

Fuck you people. Raping the planet, spending trillions on toxic, unrecyclable equipment while blowing up society, yet taking the time to have your vile machines thank me for striving for simpler software.

Just fuck you. Fuck you all.

I can't remember the last time I was this angry.

Was mildly concerned about having to migrate webmail accounts to another host for a new client. Babal Host's support offered to migrate the entire cPanel setup to their servers. Didn't even know you could do that.

Shoutout to them. Would recommend for affordable, reliable shared hosting.

To limit website width on very large displays, there's Tailwind's `container` class (shown below).

For something even simpler, there's Elementor's default style of `max-width:1200px`

This was the first month I made $1000 from komorebi's individual commercial use license sales

I just used that money to donate to The Sameer Project (Gaza) and to Mary's Place (Seattle)

Shoutout to when I spent quite some time looking for radio apps that used the phone's built-in FM antenna.

Later found out I could've just used Samsung's Radio app.

Checked all client websites yesterday for issues after WordPress auto-updated to 6.9. Thought I was in the clear till I got a client message. The one page I forgot to check was the only one with a problem.

Anyhoo, setting auto-updates to only security and maintenance versions. Lession learned.
