Here's a quick video of my basement. We don't really use it because it's really a pain in the ass going up and down those stairs and the floor by the unused water softener gets wet when iy rains a lot.

Here are the two types I bought long ago and haven't used yet. The Morton's doesn't mention pets but WILL deteriorate old concrete. The Ice Melt specifies unsafe for animals.

For once I was the beneficiary of dumb luck. The weed store is only about a year old. It used to be a Credit Union, hence the drive up windows. Here's a pic of the weed store taken from in front of Little Caesar's. Thought I had pics of both drive throughs but can't find them.

We didn't get hammered too badly, but I found out my tires are pretty much useless in slippery conditions. I got squirrelly a couple of tines,and had to correct it. Lucky I used to do that for kicks when I was a teen and got pretty good at it. Saved me a couple times in California.

Pretty sure that the Powerball tickets I just bought here for tomorrow might not be winners. Because the pump stopped while I was buying the tickets, I wasn't able to "top off" and avoid damnation.
