Downshift from 3rd gear straight into 1st gear, then jamming it back into 2nd to kick out the rear end. This would result in Nakai often showing up to Tsukuba, blowing his engine within a few hours, then abruptly leaving. Nakai would also introduce “Demon Camber” by combining small wheels and (2/3)

Before he was known for his wide body Porsches, Akira Nakai was the leader of a (mostly) AE86 team called “Rough” (later Rough Unity, then Rough World) around the touges of Mt. Tsukuba. Living up to his team name, Nakai would run stock engines without a rev limiter, which he would use to (1/3)
