My grandad was an officer on HMT Dunera in 1939, attached postcard stamped Southampton 25/8/39 (“dear wife” ♥️) Mum said he was in Malta when war was declared, returned on a different ship from Malta. He subsequently skippered a boat to Dunkirk in 1940, sadly mum lost the letter to him from the King.

I find this extremely disturbing. The fact that Russians & Americans close to Putin & Trump respectively feel able to openly say these things, effectively supporting Nigel Farage, represents an attack on UK democracy from west & east. Links to Brexit etc are crystal clear. This isn’t “free speech”.
