Quite right! For me, Idiocracy was seeing Elon brandishing his "chainsaw for bureaucracy"... What we are witnessing is the sad result of decades of voluntary dumbing down of the population through restricted access to higher education as well as the devaluation of intellectuals in popular media.

I'm noticing the same thing lately. But I am also wondering: is the platform the cause of this or is it a question of critical mass at which enough negative people on the platform will eventually spoil everybody's fun? Are all platforms ultimately doomed to the same fate?

This show is an absolute masterclass in controlled restriction. The story, the dialogues, the camera angles, the sets... And it seems it even applies to the colorimetry. Beautifully done, @benstiller.redhour.com. This is easily one of the best shows on TV right now!
