A ‘90s film that deserves more love.
(Flirting isn’t my favorite ‘90s movie, and the 4+-hour cut of Until the End of the World is remarkable and you should watch that instead if you haven’t seen it. However, I have never heard anyone besides me talk about Flirting and it is quite good.)

So, every time I am depressed, hopeless or feeling absolutely useless, I remember that I made this dog better and happy. Some days, that might feel like the only thing that means something.

The shelter people told me that she hadn’t gotten up willingly until she saw me. I thought it was a con, but when we went back to visit her, they were spoon feeding her while she was in bed. She crawled out of the shelter worker’s arms to see me.

Because Black Friday falls on a different date every year, it’s Friday’s adoptaversary.
She came in from Hurricane Harvey. She gave birth and they adopted her pups out fast. She refused to eat or get up.
They listed her as low/no shed because she was so malnourished she had none of her undercoat.
