In the UK all doctor/ hospital visits are free
Yes we have issues with waiting lists but urgent things get seen reasonably quickly
E.g. - broke elbow, visit A&E - 4 hr wait, X-ray & strapped.. referred to doctors for follow up & 10 physio appointments
