GENUINELY. It hurts how good this arc is compared to everything else. I can never in good conscience recommend AGE but quite literally everything abt Asemu + Romary + Zeheart is one of my fav things in the world

I love a lot about AGE and its faults but my god. The misogyny is such a glaring problem in all its aspects.
I’ve had ppl tell me Ibo was the most sexist gundam series and I was like. It’s got issues, sure. But it’s Not Even Close to AGE.

The show is SO centered on the male Asuno bloodline and just……… doesn’t give a shit about any of the women. They’re there to prop up the protag/be in the background/give birth to the next generation/take care of children. There’s like several exceptions to that but again. The bar is so low

Unfortunately it only gets worse from here 😔. Personally I’d say theres some better stuff with the female characters in the second generation, but the bar is so so so so low.
