For my dog and Arsenal. Against the American Fascist Movement (AKA MAGA). All with equal passion.
My foremost thought while watching MLS in real time yesterday, was that it was a shame that Tuchel was at the match. Besides MLS being poor, it was clear that Calafiori was just so much better after coming on. Earning a WC 2026 place has gotten dramatically harder.

I thought the MLS performance was truly awful, while I also agree with everything you wrote.

It is clear that Cala is a full level above him. If we didn't have such extraordinary depth, MLS could fill in at numerous positions. But we've now surpassed the level of plugging in players as experiments.

I believe that Musiala is Bayern's best player. That being said, Kimmich is their most important player. No one else in the squad can do what he does. Gnabry, Diaz and Karl can all do the Musiala job, just not as well.

Because it was right in front of Tuchel, it surely reduces his likelihood of going to WC 2026.......and that could play to Arsenal's benefit.

I have no opinion about the religion, but this Arsenal side is collectively and individually the most likeable group of players I have ever experienced in my 50 years watching numerous team sports. It seems like Arsenal has made it a point to only recruit good people (Partey notwithstanding).

If I had a choice between Olise/Yamal for the next 5 years, it would be no contest. Olise is currently better & I don't see it changing any time soon. Seems silly to say a 17 year old killing La Primera is overrated, but Yamal is. He's a truly great player who feels no pressure, but Olise is better.

If we're the only British side to avoid the playoffs, that's a huge advantage for us in the league.

It won't be Chelsea challenging. If Haaland stays healthy, City will be our only challengers. Before the season I predicted 93 points because of Pool/City chasing, but we might have no challengers.

So glad to see Timber getting a rest.

Makes up for his spectacular save against Rice.

We've been outstanding this half against a truly great team. Our patient pressing has been extraordinary.

It's possible that Gnabry and Olise temporarily switching sides helped put us off. Perfect execution by Bayern.

I believe that it was a foul, but not a penalty.

Arteta tactical master class. We're executing patient pressing. No one's trying to steal the ball. Instead, everyone does their job patiently & they all jump into action together once Bayern has a mis-touch. We're consistently creating almost chances. One of these will drop right & then we're in.

Two great teams playing great football. And I'm able to enjoy it because the pressure to win is so low.

I need to enjoy watching league games when the score is close, but I don't know how.

Perfect Bayern goal. Perfect long ball from Kimmich, perfect one touch cross from Gnabry, perfect one touch finish from Karl.

Two great teams playing a great game.

I would like to thank Trossard for waiting until we had proper substitutes to get injured.

Is it likely that Arteta will remove the only player who has won at Bayern Munich?

She skipped town once so she could do an “internship” at some rich person’s vineyard.

All she cares about is getting paid and accepted by the wealthy.

Like people who move their clocks and watches forward to make themselves move faster....someone should figure out how to perpetually put it into Pickens' head that he is in the last year of his contract. Then they would be signing a superstar with positive off-field actions.

It seems unfathomable that he was unable to run a sub 4.5 forty pre-draft. The common description high school to college and then Troy to Oregon was "fast".
