If not, I may be able to help shed some light on this and contribute to your work in other areas. I’m on a much needed vacation this week but will be back in the office next Wednesday (Dec 17). I will be checking messages. Hope to connect as you are correct, few understand the bigger picture.

Finally had a chance to listen to the Money on the Left podcast. Insightful! We should talk. Please dm me, your account doesn’t allow it. We definitely have shared experiences and connections. I’m curious if your book addresses the challenges and dynamics of structural enrollment declines?

No surprise, it’s become very political. We plan to bring the proposed regional agreement to the six towns in the spring, but there is chicken-egg structural problem of transitional funding. Specifics… 6towns.org
Feel free to dm me for more info if interested.

Looking forward to listening to this as I am six years into a regionalization effort to merge two regional and one municipal public school districts. Currently working on behalf of six towns with the MA governor’s office and DESE to figure out transitional funding…complicated to say the least.

He certainly doesn’t sound optimistic.

He’s trying to gain some credibility before he goes all maga.
His past positions are, of course, the direction he wants the Fed to go.

Martinů's Madrigals for violin and viola are another set of beautiful pieces. I had the honor of producing and engineering a recording of them for Michael Zaretsky and Viktor Romanul in Boston. Check them out if you like the concertos.

As someone who helps run two towns in Massachusetts, I can say definitively that the Fair Share Amendment has helped our communities tremendously! If the Feds won’t tax fairly, it is incumbent on the states to do so.

Well, I have read most of MMT. Learn how to write clear posts.
October 13, 2025 at 7:31 PM
I still don’t understand your position as your posts aren’t clear. Are you in agreement with this article or not?
October 13, 2025 at 7:27 PM
Old article and tired conclusion. MMT, like all economic lenses, has much to offer. Instead of generalizing and dismissing it out of hand, it would be more frutiful to give specific examples of what you disagree with.
October 13, 2025 at 6:22 PM
True, it is using the positive side of the lens. It is definitely not implement normative side of MMT.
October 11, 2025 at 8:19 PM
The reality is this current administration is implementing MMT but for the wealthy. They are advocating interest rate cuts at full employment. Deficits will remain through tax cuts… which is all a redistribution upwards.

He’s a “Jacksonite” - he prefers bank failures and depressions at the expense and hardship of the people.

He’s not worth debating.

Yes indeed. We are reducing foreign policy to economic threats and punishment, and subsidizing ideology through election interference. Funny how DOGE can look the other way on such blatant fraud, waste and especially abuse.
