This AI bots that people are against are more like guns than people. They are being misused and hurting lives. The issue is that the name "Artificial Intelligence" humanizes it but it's not intelligent at all. It's a script. It doesn't think, like a gun. But in the wrong hands, it's bad.

There is a huge difference between hating people for being being something different from you (a trait they can't control) and hating a program that steals from people, is destroying the environment, and is being used to create a worst world overall.
