How do you like the migration strategy? I need to find a better approach than what Claude does naturally.

Was made by elves, used for evil. (I'm in the middle of a LOTR extended version rewatch, so top of mind :))

I particularly like this line from the wikipedia page:

> The stones were an unreliable guide to action, since what was not shown could be more important than what was selectively presented.

I had to look this up... it's security positioned for home security. Who would trust that?

At least the company whose namesake derives from palantír had *some* nuance to it.

Sounds like a great thing an LLM can write and install at a production level with about an hour of guidance.

Likely VIP traffic and no slots for deplaning. Happens.

True, but in many cases you can eat your cake and have it, too. Commercial rooftop solar, shaded/paneled parking lots, and a bunch of other ways to dual-duty solar capture without creating a gray, photovoltaic hellscape.

I live in an apartment building, so my solve was to pay for it elsewhere. 🤝

I bought a small solar share in a community solar farm in upstate New York and didn't have to feed the meter for about 3 years. It was a remarkably cost effective.

I'd love to see a companion bill that allows you to "trade" your balcony solar for double-square footage on a locally-owned solar farm.

I love solar farms—I really do. But slapdash panels that provide a fraction of output with accompanying aesthetic blight to rile up naysayers ain't it.

Which distro?

It really does; wrote about this in my recent michaelgruen.com/now entry.

And while it may not be the most popular opinion, but I'm increasingly a fan of OSS with paid licensing (e.g., n8n.com, cal.com, etc.)

Thinking about releasing some of my own homegrown work in that vein.
