So much work. So yummy. But people perpetually giving them away!? I LOVE my lasagna and once it is made I have a hard enough time sharing it with my own children let alone other people! I will serve it to company sometimes but I am always hoping they don’t want seconds 😬

My actions mere drop in bucket but hope each change I manage at least brings me closer to being cog in solution & less cog in problem. I know many do far more-wish some others understood many of these changes enhance life-I don’t feel I’m “giving up” anything. Also NEED green policy/law to progress.

His portfolio is not environment and should be. It’s where his passion is. I believe our environment minister lacks the chops for the job and that is why she was placed in the job. She she seems to lack conviction, she merely whispers and we need a roar. She is my MP -I hoped for more.

Also drive smallest greenest car we can in TO with no parking at home(prius as we street park-no plug in possible yet), live in dense housing, ride bike & use transit as much as possible, buy sustainably produced items, shop local makers, promote local, never shop Amazon, etc etc etc..

Avoid air travel. Travel in Cda-camp, attend climate rallies with school children, ask groups I’m part of to minimize waste, minimize plastic by buying bulk-in reusable handmade bags, some DIY, sew my clothes, (use)hankies, napkins, try to replace ♻️ with reuse, eat local, less meat. Grow food. MEND!

there’s view that those who buy organic are simply indulging in “luxury”. Maybe case for some but many learned issues with chemically intensive farms for 🌎(& probably their bodies as evidenced here) & buy on that basis. Loathe this mischaracterization but know it isn’t helped by “wellness” types.

find it strange-& have found it strange-how medical community has widely disparaged/not recommended organic food. Yes more expensive so buy only what one CAN afford & I do it as much for the farmers as for my own body but there’s been this strong thrust to say it isn’t healthier which I don’t grasp.

Oh you need a better turkey then-reason we don’t do it often is feeds a big crowd & mostly don’t have those, it is a bit of a production to get in oven, definitely tastes extra delicious with gravy which is a production & making stuffing for it is a production. Used to think this way-b4 Sanagans.

Smartest in group at a lowly 2%. So sad how our political system works. Feel like PP should be less than 2 but some can never see their way out of ingrained prejudice that anything even tiny bit left of Conservative is handing their assets to the state. Whilst cons in power tend to be the thieves!!

For me it is not so much the falling asleep but rather staying asleep! Though I fully relate to the getting keyed up by a meeting part!!

@aranethome.bsky.social for a fantastic CO2 monitor & the citizen science will blow your mind while you use it. As much fun as the bird sounds app! But more health giving.

Some pretty prominent musicians have asked audience to mask but it just gets harder to do/so if it were me I’d check ventilation at venue & filter air at least on stage. You performed at Danforth Music Hall recently &their air quality has been documented poorly in past. Much 🤧circulating right now.

Musicians particularly vulnerable as singing and many instruments (to say nothing of cheering crowds) emit more viral particles in breath than those just breathing.
