I was not raised in an Abrahamic faith. My reverence for the "Big 3" is only that of a theologian. You can't say I love one of them more than another or that I hate one over another. To me, they're like a book series spread across different perspectives. Like LOTR, The Hobbit, and The Silmarillion.

@npr.org Decent article but I have a grievance. There's no reason for the quotation marks around all references to our beliefs. You wouldn't, and don't, do that to other faiths so don't do it to ours. It's disrespectful.

Speaking of the thread I posted previously, this was a repeat visitor. He was "Cousin Carlos". He had already spent about 3 or 4 Thanksgivings with us before we figured out he wasn't related by blood. My family is WILD

Pro Tip: When visiting Colorado, anything with the word 'pass' in the name should be avoided from October to April, possibly May. Unless you're trying to get on the news then by all means carry on.

It's my daughter's birthday and of course she's in tears. We can't have a single holiday that isn't ruined by temper tantrums and drama. Living with a narcissist is daunting. Living with 2 drains the soul.
