Did Dem Sens (& 1 ind't) ignore this when they voted to cave?

Did the Democratic Party go into a coma after last Tuesday?

Just...damn.

AOC is 100%.

If I've got this right, I'm in shock. What the hell are they thinking? The word is:
"8 Dems vote YES.
Durbin
Kaine
King
Shaheen
Rosen
Hassan
Fetterman
Cortez Masto"
The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

Rumor floating on PBS:

SENATE DEAL:
Per source familiar, deal w GOP led by Sens King, Hassan, Shaheen has “more than enough” Dems supporting it
- CR through Jan 30
- ACA vote by a Dec. date Dems choose the bill
- Minibus with reversal of shutdown RIFs
- SNAP is funded through next September

We need to stop debating, "Is he a sociopath?" & face a much more important question:

"How did a sociopath twice become POTUS?"

It can't just be dismissed by calling people stupid.

Sociopaths have one pattern. They seduce, then they destroy. We must hope people are finally seeing the truth.
November 7, 2025 at 6:19 PM
Seeing this a day after the election continues to bring forth that elusive...hope! We can only hope they're finally seeing that not only does he not want to help his people, he's happy to see them suffer if it means another dime in his own pocket.
November 7, 2025 at 3:45 PM
It's this simple. He's happy to starve the most vulnerable Americans, including children, to make sure they lose any hope of medical insurance.

How many ways do they want people to suffer & die?

The bad news? Due to cuts in Trump/DOGE decimation of food safety depts, many pasta products are now deadly

The good news? Due to GOP shutdown, elimination of SNAP benefits & thousands of jobs, no American can afford food.

Problem solved.

165 years ago, a great President - perhaps greatest-ever - was inaugurated. He kept our states united, defeated the Confederacy (too many people forget that) & spoke words that have never been more needed than they are today.

Imagine his sorrow seeing what's happened to his Republican Party.

Who amongst us hasn't opened an expected package of medical equipment to find, instead, human body parts, packed on ice?

Christian County Coroner clearly proved that current medical care literally costs an arm & a leg.

Or that they're giving customers the finger.
