I've now managed to read 14 books since M died... 14 books in about 17 months... so when I feel the urge to read, I heed it.

Exactly that! I get that people want to see me happy and recovered, for their sake and mine. I truly do. But I can't make it so just because they want it.

♥️ oh, yes, that's how I usually reply, but that's not what they want. They want to know what's new with me, what adventures I'm on. I know they mean it kindly, but they want to know I'm moving past it, over it, back to "normal, and I'm nowhere near that.
