Been thinking about starting a new Sims 3 save game, but I've been running with my current one for so long that I barely remember a lot of the early history (older Sim is nearly 450 at this point), and the thought of starting anew makes me so sad. Like I'm not gonna delete them, but still.

My active Sims are immortals with aging disabled (Ascended vampire Sims), so they've watched the town ebb and flow, but seeing their Bonehilda go was unexpected. They got a new coffin and I cheat-disabled aging for her. It's also a big part of why they don't have pets. #Sims3
So a bit ago I noticed my Sims' Bonehilda moving a bit differently. Like she was elderly. After another bit, she got a cane and had the dignified stride, and then after more time the struggling shuffle. I didn't realise Bonehilda could age. And then, later, Grim came and got her. #Sims3

My wounds from last week's incident have been healing well, tho I was informed red lines coming from the wounds could signal coral polyps growing in the wounds, and I haven't seen any red lines, but now I'm paranoid.

Went out on a big solo adventure last night after work to try and collect resources for a project. Started off great and ended with me driving an hour and a half with badly cut feet, a badly cut hand, no shoes, no pants, and no sought resources :(

This is especially big if you're keen on the families of your active Sims living their lives once they're no longer active. My two main Sims are finally out of direct family members and I'm mourning what could've been before they all died, moved away, or "disappeared".
I've never usually kept with a Sims game for long bc I tend to get bored, but my current game has been going for over 300 years (days?). I've seen generations pass. And yet I only just today put the Story Progression mod on my game. HUGE difference and I regret not doing it sooner.

YOU CAN UPGRADE THE UMBRELLA/PARASOL?! To either make them unbreakable or SO THE MIDDLE STEM THING GLOWS? AND YOU CAN CHANGE THE COLOUR?! #Sims3

Well, we've done it.
I have, in my room, a USABLE desk setup.
Needs a lot of upgrades and more cleaning, especially of the shelves above the desk, but my laptop is now operating on my own desk. I have no right to be this excited over smth so boring lol, but I am.

Wishing I could get my hands on more of that Captain Morgan gingerbread spiced rum, but I haven't seen it since winter of 2019. Settled for some Bird Dog gingerbread spiced whiskey, but I miss the rum. My nog just tastes better with rum.
