I feel like people claiming that Alastor’s “villain arc” will be rightly provoked by him feeling neglected by his allies are mostly projecting how they’d feel in his shoes.
He probably doesn’t want their affection if he resented the possibility of being seen as a beloved martyr if he actually died.

Idk I just think a lot of complaints in this fandom rn could be toned down if people remind themselves that, out of 5000000 story beats, they had to narrow it down to specific scenes that would fit in 8 episodes and best cover all corners of the story

I didn’t get to see the Lute thread, unfortunately, but personally, one of my fave things about Hazbin and Helluva is that it’s written with the show in mind, not the season.
Gravity planted the seeds for when Lute goes crazy later in the show, and I’m honestly super excited for it!

I'm honestly getting so sick of the "Alastor deserves better" takes from this fandom. And Alastor is my absolute favorite character and the main reason why I have kept my interest in Hazbin for the past like 3 years. Alastor has done jack shit for the Hotel since the big battle in the S1 finale.
