builds fixed but unable to distribute new binaries today because Apple's code signing service appears to be down

even if I change the thumbnail, it won't update the existing social media embeds. it is what it is.

1) it's a proof of concept that you can have total control offline including SD card and camera access

2) it shows that Bambu could easily do this, too, and highlights that their choices are centered around inconveniencing you to keep you on their cloud

3) the code could be ported to Orca

not sure what's up but builds are erroring out. gotta run to a thing so it might be a few hours before I can address this properly.

there was a glitch in the matrix in the wee hours when I built the desktop binaries. minting fresh ones now.

not at all. more testing will only help me make it better.

anyone out there know if this is a first since it does not require the Bambu Network plugin? code checked into grid-apps repo under the rel-4.1 branch.

forgot to add that this is in the dev release, so if you're not grabbing the desktop builds and running from source, after cloning the repo you need to:

git checkout rel-4.1
npm run setup
npm run start

by default the AMS slots are mapped to the extruder/tool order, but you can override this in your device settings

this goes beyond the multi-device management Bambu offers and does it with complete privacy in mind. all traffic stays local and touches no-one's cloud.

if you're not following the Bambu debacle, this is useful because it allows you to control any LAN mode Bambu printer you can reach on any network without using any binaries delivered from untrusted 3rd parties.
