Ah. I misunderstood the gist of what you were asking. I don't think parents know how impactful their words, actions, & attitudes can be. Both mine were mentally ill, one **much** more so than the other. I had little framing of reality.. It's a fucking miracle I am still here at 55.

Could be, but the definition of imposter syndrome doesn't really fit me. I think it likely comes from a lifetime history of child abuse/neglect, PTSD, bipolar, & having a learning disability. I was taught that I was worthless. Even though I know deep down that i'm not, on bad days, it creeps in.

I feel that, sincerely. I don't post much. I'm used to not being noticed. (And I am pretty convinced that most people wouldn't notice if I suddenly disappeared.) I don't ever expect "likes" to anything I post, but when they do come along it's a pleasant surprise. Bottom line- I don't expect much
