It's the same as the VGA. Or any awards, for that matter. Its cool to see a game you like win and might even be good publicity but at the end of the day, it's all about marketing

-that if I don't feel I'm being efficient, frustration builds and it all goes downhill. If I try to draw a person and realize the eyes are too small or the arms have wrong proportions I give up entirely and go back to basic exercises because in my head, I'm "wasting time"

I've started learning how to draw this year, and indeed frustration is a huge problem. I am starting late in life and there is a giant mountain to climb until I can draw what I really want, combine that with working on an industry that prioritizes efficiency and punishes mistakes severely means-
