Honestly, having two days in a row off from my two jobs sounds really nice, spending it with family sounds like a nightmare at this point

Like idc what she says, saying “I really wanna see my grandkids open their gifts Christmas morning but if you’re not going then I’m not going!” Is like sloppy lazy manipulation and telling me that she isn’t trying to guilt me into going is just lying in my face.

But trying to pressure my sister into letting them in the house doesn’t seem fair either so I figured having my own Christmas with them this year was the best solution but oh man does my mom not agree and she is being such a gas lighting manipulative ass about it

BUT if I go, goblin and yabo have to be locked in a separate room the entire time because they don’t let dogs in their main house. So I decided I’m gonna just stay home because I don’t want goblin and yabo to have to spend the whole holiday locked away from everyone. It’s not fair to them or me
