to both deal with that aspect, and also with the fact that chickens aren't animals you generally take to the vet to put down when they're old/sick/injured, often that kind of thing falls to you. It can be tough!

Yeah the eggs are really convenient and you'd have a lot to spare depending on how many you eat a day/amount of chickens. My main point with people who are looking into some kind of personal farm is that these animals die a lot, and often in brutal ways + on a farm you have--
