Such a pleasure to join the @deep-mind.bsky.social AI for Science Forum yesterday. TLDR version: there is dizzying progress happening at the intersection of computer science, life sciences and medicine. Where we're headed is understanding the semantics of DNA and deciphering the genome.

The Tube is largely unrecognisable from a couple of decades ago – despite the constant moaning of Londoners, modernisation programmes have made it reliable, safe and efficient. But occasionally you get a glimpse of the old Tube. These signs outside St James's Park station took me back.

#Arturday If you’re ever in Miami, find time to visit the Rubell Museum, which has a mind-blowing collection of contemporary art. Was lucky enough to arrive early and walk the galleries alone and came across Yayoi Kusama's Narcissus Garden, which is made of 700 silver spheres.
