What a world we live in when the Scorpions have a classier social media post than the President of the United States.

An amazing trainwreck of a movie. The two "romantic leads" don't actually end up together, but literally everyone else does, there's a weird mixture of conservative and woke propaganda, an absurdly violent scene out of nowhere and wild plot escalation. I don't think this was written by a sane person

Excellent crossover between Another Eden and Final Fantasy IX. The story begins very similar to FFIX but gradually diverges and goes in very interesting places, causing some changes to character arcs in the process. The AE characters hold their own against the FFIX cast and shine throughout this.

Zootopia 2 was solid. I liked it about as much as I like the first, which didn't blow me away either but was pleasant nonetheless. This one leaned more into shipping than the first one.

"Wicked: For Good" was excellent. I was a little worried with all of the negativity out there about this movie that I might not like it. I've always been an Act II defender but it had been a long time since I'd seen the play and thought, "Maybe it won't hold up."

Nah. It's still bloody brilliant.

If Final Fantasy XI was a single player FF game, which NPC do you think should have been the main character?

A bit darker than I expected. Wasn't sure I wanted to watch it given how bleak and unpleasant it started, but luckily it was all leading to something thematically satisfying. A great film and I can see why it got so much hype. I don't really consider it a kid's film though.

Probably the best of the Disney live action remakes. It's both very similar to the original while also having a lot of changes, emphasizing and focusing on different details, combining and deleting characters, but still maintaining lots of heart and humor. Good flick. Competitive with the original.

Honestly one of the best comedy movies I've seen in years. Pretty consistently laugh out loud hilarious. The writing is really strong and the Jonas brothers pull off great performances here. It's a high recommendation if you're looking for a new comedy to watch.

Well-written pop punk with a j-rock edge from Cleveland, Ohio. Great hooks with incredibly tight performances. No notes, just a great album.

Zombies 4 is a weird legacy sequel because the old legacy characters are college freshmen. Good movie, big step up from Zombies 3. Nice messages and some fun musical numbers.

Does your character ship with any of the NPCs, and if so, which one(s)?

Cute little short that is extremely specific with the canon timeframe the short takes place in the timeline. Funny with some good jokes that balance the Lego theming and Frozen theming well. Better than expected.

folklore: the long pond studio sessions is a pretty straightforward film: Taylor and her co-writers perform folklore in its entirety for the first time in-person (remember this was a covid album) and in-between songs talk about the songwriting process. Great film for those interested in songcraft.

One of the worst films I've seen in my entire life and almost certainly the winner for the worst film score in any movie I've seen. The cringe level is off the charts. The writing and acting is bizarre. Essentially proof that conservatives are bad at making art.

The most predictable win in the history of the show, the latest season of the GBBO was still as charming and pleasant as always.
