Thoughts are my own, not my institutions.
Father, husband, law faculty.
Enjoying the Palouse.
IDK, but there is significant evidence for it. IRW a senior lawyer in Seattle at a deposition describe my then-GF as an "also present." The only reason for saying that was a dep assumption that women were paralegals, not attorneys. In other ways, he was a very good lawyer, too.

You can probably turn that off. But although I find it peeving, I also find it helpful. I do tend to work too much without a break. And when I'm at home, the reminder usually gets me to do some tidying, which isn't a bad thing.

You can tell these people use their servants to shop and cook for them. Sugar doesn't come in glass jars like that.

I got mine a few days ago. It's a lot to deal with and a bit of a nag. ("Stand up and move for a minute"; "You're just short of your exercise goals. A four-minute walk should do it.") It reminds me of a city in a Ray Bradbury short story (IIRC) that was such a nag no one wanted to live in it.

Take care. FWIW Apple Watches and similar can be a help because of the automatic emergency call feature. My wife and I got them after I fell on a run and her horse tossed her. They can be handy even for young, athletic people like my kid, who broke his collar bone mountain biking.

Yes. And according to their reporting, the reports of a deal are coming from the Trump side. Why did they believe that?

This shouldn't surprise anyone. Many parents would rather get a big screen TV than educate their children, and these parents love IHLA because it lets them do that. I wonder if IHLA's internal documents show that give-aways like this boost its profits.

Ahem. It's BECAUSE you bought an all-wheel-drive car, snow tires, and a parka, that there's no snow in Colorado. Just as it's because I said to myself, "There's no need to throw a snow cover on my car" yesterday afternoon that we got an unexpected four inches.

Here's an article with some examples about how AI could hlep learning. I found it interesting, and you might, too. www.insidehighered.com/opinion/view...

Learn to play the glass harmonica? It's the most eerily beautiful thing I've heard. This guy used to play in the square in summers when I went to school (a long time ago, obvs), and it was amazing. www.youtube.com/watch?v=U_WR...

What a mess. I'm so sorry, and I hope it wasn't trust account money.

The facts relating to the indictment are complicated, but they wouldn't have been had the prosecutor been competent or not malicious. So, this looks like unreasonably and vexatiously multiplying proceedings, giving Comey a claim for attorney's fees from the prosecutor personally. 28 U.S.C. § 1927.

It's worth going back to the original "Who Goes There?" short story. Sometimes short stories have more impact for me than the novels because I can easily read them in a single sitting. I liked the short story, "Flowers for Algernon," much more than the book.

Denver thanks you for this contribution to its welfare.
I need to replace my tires, and if there's big snow on the Palouse before I do, it's going to be my fault.

Or just get a booster? When I explained to my Washington State pharmacist that I had to travel to measles-stricken Texas, she was happy to give me a shot. It may have helped that at my age the childhood vaccination I got was less effective.

I'd worry about it. The prospective clients might not perceive it as conclusive, and the rule focuses on what the prospective client's trying to do. And, to be a decent warning, it needs to say that the lawyer feels free to repeat what the prospective client says.
