🚒👨‍🚒Earlier this week I joined the UFA for their holiday party.

However, one issue came up again and again. The 20 year retirement bill, which would bring FDNY in line with NYPD, is still awaiting the Governor’s signature.

The members of the UFA & UFOA stand for the best of NYC. They deserve parity.

While I was unable to attend in person, I submitted testimony for the preservation of West Park Presbyterian Church.

This church is part of the fabric of the Upper West Side.

I urge the Commission to ensure West Park remains standing for generations to come.

I stood with Japneet Singh, Assemblymember Weprin, and leaders from the Sikh community to call for justice after a 15 year old Sikh boy was stabbed & robbed in Jamaica, Queens.

What happened to this young man is appalling. We call on the authorities to act fast and hold the attackers accountable.

As of this morning, Starbucks workers across the country are officially ON STRIKE. And we're prepared for this to become the biggest and longest ULP strike in Starbucks history.

Say #NoContractNoCoffee with us: DON'T BUY STARBUCKS for the duration of our open-ended ULP strike! $SBUX

Huge shoutout to my friend Lauren Claus on her incredible legal win after the heartbreaking attack that injured Penny.
