I'm writing it currently. I'm about to serialize the 1st draft chapters on substack.

Second drawing is just a crowd of mobsters. The female and male of the left side of the first drawing are the villains. The female on the top right of the first drawing is a kind of a glamorous pin-up girl ghost that sometimes helps out the main character when he's in a jam.

I realize I didn't label them. But the first 3rd and 4th are of the main character, who is not named until the end of the book except the initial m. He's a reporter; a hard-boiled investigator type and he's on the run from his long time lover who tried to kill him along with her later new husband.

Thanks! I've always really strive d to make my characters make the drawings feel like they're alive. No matter what distortions or shortcuts in a drawing occur. Because in the end, when we draw characters it's all about the face. Ultimately and the body language.

Thanks! I really like doing minimal color shifts like these. It's a good practice for how I want illustrations to look in my novel that I'm working on.
