The entire climax plays out in red and blue lighting that makes me happy.

In this shot, camera operator Alex Frank started wide on Aaron as his character fired at a werewolf outside the cabin window, then dollied _along_the_laser_ into a close up on Aaron, shooting the whole time. The dolly move lasts five seconds, and plays out unbroken.

Earlier in the film, the laser was achieved as an effect by cinematographer Chris Cosgrave in two shots during post: once for actor safety, and once to correct a continuity issue that occurred in a pickup shot we needed. But during the climax, the laser was always "live."

Every time you see the green laser from the scope of the rifle Aaron Wag Krygier uses during the climax, the laser was real; only the muzzle flashes were added in post. The crew had to haze the interior of the cabin so the laser would read properly (we ultimately had to disable the fire alarm).

Yes! A replica of the lighthouse, thanks for noticing. I'm told the DVD will be at the beginning of the new year soonest. Thanks for watching!

Admittedly very low budget, but also very funny, especially if you've ever lived in Buffalo. I chose to work on it because of Scott, and because I wanted to be part of a film that celebrates life in this blue collar, football-obsessed college town that also has an arts culture. On Prime.
