They are. That's been part of the trade discussion between Canada and China, while Ottawa has been asking Beijing to remove their 100% tariff on canola. The tariff on Chinese EV's does not benefit Canada one bit.

SCOTUS is not more corrupt than Trump. Your Executive Branch oozes corruption in every Executive Order signed, every pardon sold, and every gift accepted. SCOTUS is corrupt, but not Trump-level-corrupt. That's a new level of complete corruption extending past the executive branch to the Trump family

Replacing Stellantis and GM with BYD factories would go a long way toward solving the auto sector issues. The only reason Canada has a 100% tariff on Chinese EV's is to appease the US. I'd say there's little justification for that appeasement to continue.

Canada relied too heavily on trade with the US. When it was cut off our industries were harmed. Finding reliable trading partners elsewhere has been a main priority for our PM. Next is enhancement of our military. The US is not a reliable defence partner, either. Keep your F35's. Sweden respects us.

Your interpretation of bill C-9 is pretty broad. It's really only extreme speech that willfully promotes hatred and violence toward a specific, identifiable group that is criminalized. And you'll really have to fight to have this enforced.
