This is the top comment under the AP story on the passing of Viola Ford Fletcher, oldest survivor of the 1921 Tulsa massacre. Does the AP allow sarcasm in the comments? apnews.com/article/viol...

After my first taste, I’d say… let’s not.

My lover's got humour
She's the giggle at a funeral
Knows everybody's disapproval
I should've worshipped her sooner

I don’t know what offends me more, that I got this as a “news” alert, or the continued mainstreaming of the nonsense word “impactful.”

Naw… I’m good.

Senate agrees to House language on Epstein files by unanimous consent. This was Schumer’s move, and while I appreciate the alacrity, and a roll call means less after Trump stopped trying to oppose the bill, I expect more delay tactics ahead, so having every Senator on record would have been useful.

Crap. Jack has already started spam-texting (spexting?) me.

So, the son of one of the girls in this photo is going to run for Congress and might be squaring off against the ex-husband of the other girl.

The revolution will not be televised because it was not picked up for another season.

When the Cave-in Caucus broke ranks, my 1st thought was: the airlines.

“The air travel industry spent more than $2.8 mil… trying to influence the last election, & $842,500… went to the 8 Conservative Dems who voted to reopen the govt w/out securing extended ACA subsidies.”

Maybe we need NIL money for your developers!

“Republicans made it clear this is as far as they would go.”

That is Sen. Jeanne Shaheen’s rationale for why she broke ranks, along with seven other Dems, to give the GOP the CR they wanted.
November 10, 2025 at 2:24 AM
It should absolutely be part of any Dem set of talking points that the Trump administration is using a battery of expensive, taxpayer-funded lawyers to repeatedly prevent the country’s most vulnerable from having enough money to eat.

GLP-1 receptor agonists can help with a range of health issues; they can’t, however, get Trump to care about you.

Newsom thanking his lucky stars Mamdani can’t run for president.

Gavin… you are following a banger from Zohran… this is the best you got? 😴

Eugene Debs in the house! Zohran Mamdani starts his victory speech by name checking the guy who ran for president as a socialist.

I was going to play the Cuomo endorsement game with a picture of Robert Mitchum as Preacher Harry Powell from "The Night of the Hunter," but honestly, even that can't top this:
November 4, 2025 at 4:30 AM
What’s odd abt Trump’s late 👍 to Cuomo is that Trump hates being on-record endorsing losers. Trump has stayed away from the VA & NJ governor races, for instance.

Is this Trump hoping to join Cuomo in post-election Lost Cause-ism, or is he trying to justify action against NYC as an “I told you so?”
