You can change the content within the accessory when the tab changes, including hiding/showing it. But, yeah, Apple designed it to be a system-wide thing like the Now Playing accessory in Apple Music. Search in the Tab Bar is also similarly designed which makes tab-specific search difficult too.

In the meantime there are several shows in the Apple TV+ list that I've never heard of and have no idea what they are. Some golf show with Owen Wilson? WTF is The Buccaneers? A pirate show? I guess I'll never know.

Some marketing person at Apple TV+ is looking at the wrong metrics. Pretty sure I'm not going to finally decide to go see that movie on the 87th viewing of that same preview.

Hi Matt, can you explain how this works exactly? Are there any blogs or posts you can point to? I'm very interested in this since I use docker for Swift on Lambda quite a bit and it is a bit of a pain.

I ran into this as well years ago. I ended up replacing the album art with stock photos that looked like album covers. Nowadays you could just use ChatGPT created images that look like album covers for free. I'm not sure that sneaking in real album art is worth it.

Yes it is possible to do with XCUITest, but takes quite a bit of time to work. You can have the test launch your app but then have it hit the "home button" and then get a handle to Springboard and do all the swipes and taps needed on the Home Screen to install and configure a widget.
