I had this starkly illustrated to me when I tried to teach my wife Marvel Champions. She is a very smart woman (way smarter than I am) but the whole concept was just impenetrable to her.

I don't think I have ever heard Kermode as genuinely angry as this. Sure, his rants on 'bad movies' are legendary, but it's generally delivered with an air of detached boredom and/or mild incredulity. This...you could FEEL the rage radiating from him.
