No it isn't - treating disabled people differently, in terms of support, based on WHEN they claim rather than their support needs is obviously wrong.

The way UC works though means parents will always get more overall from working more, so not true to say lifting the two Child credit limit “incentivises” not working.

You’re confusing entitlement with actual payment. Everyone with a third child will be entitled to the money but those that earn more actually get less because they earn more.

That’s the sum for everyone then obvs if you work more you get less because you have more coming from work. I think this is fair and I don’t think it serves as incentive for ppl to either work less nor have more kids

£17 a week is the child benefit rate not the rate for additional child universal credit child element rate, which is substantially higher.
