@philmoorhouse.bsky.social You've made some excellent vids about Labour Comms. Have you looked at their SocMedia stuff for Scotland? Its woeful.

@coyoteandcrow.bsky.social Have you considered printing in the UK. We're baseline 10% tariff and GMS can provide a landing point so that the shipment is split for EU/us fufilments

Teaching Freya about taxation and I think she understands it too well. She had 6 bacon bites and I had 1. I told her that we share annnd now she has 6 bacon bites, is eating mine, and laughing manically while gesturing with 1 finger.

It occurs to me that Maga is the ultimate success of Osama Bin Laden. He successfully stripped the vaneer off of the USA with the sept11 attack and with it created the preconditions for Trumpism. Sure Putin's involved but OBL scared the US into this state.

I wonder how many current and future intelligence community handshake deals Musk has just screwed up by killing USAID?

So that's the redundancy letters sent out for Scotland's only refinery. Anyone thinking about voting Labour in the next election should think about this. 90% of the UK pop is in England, so there is no electoral math, where the wants of England don't trump our needs.
Grangemouth staff sent redundancy letters ahead of closure
Scotland's only oil refinery is set to close by the summer with the loss of more than 400 jobs.

Reading a lot of Redhat comments about how the USA would win a war with anyone it chooses to fight. This is true, but like the quote goes irrelevant. Nobody ever wins against a bigger foe by fighting fair & the antivaxxers are a gaping hole waiting to be exploited.

My suspicion is that Mexico turned around and said "well if you crash our economy we won't be able to patrol the border or fight the Cartels. I mean it's not like they target politicians and their property. Your call."

And regardless, because businesses have already taken change actions and nobody trusts Trump to stick to a deal, prices will go up anyway.
He is going to say "pinky swear you will protect our border. And buy more booze and stuff from us. "

They will say yes. Won't actually buy the stuff. And he will declare victory

It occurs to me that the USA needs to be sent a care package of Allo Allo. Has it dated? Oh hell yes, but laughing at Nazis is a good start and it's about due a remake.

I am now sufficiently old enough to remember when this would have been an unbelievable parody. Fully expecting a cannibalism/wicker man scandal in the next 6 months. Will be happy to be proved wrong.
An unqualified former Fox host, accused in an affidavit of being "abusive" toward his second wife, of being perpetually drunk, and allegedly screaming "Kill all Muslims! Kill all Muslims!" just got confirmed as the US Defense Secretary (!) by a tie-break vote in the Senate.
