Especially if they serve in the House and get prorogued for 7 weeks by the Speaker. Were they able to get their insider trading tips during that time?

Yes. I'm waiting to hear what emerges from the investigation. Still, it seems clear that the illegal order was given, and carried out, and military personnel did the carrying out. If it wasn't Bradley, and it was someone under his command, it still taints his service.

"Even as we speak to you now," when you are sound asleep.

Trying to end this war now -- so that your unmatched corruption can continue.

Yeah. So why did he comply with a clearly illegal order?
And if he didn't, and others stepped out of the line of command, what does that say about his command structure?

I got it from Wikipedia; if it's wrong, then I am.

He probably did. And Hegseth's actions toward him are deplorable.
But Bradley's a full admiral with 34 years of service, more if we count his years at Annapolis. He knew this was an illegal order. He has blood on his own hands and should be held to account.

Hegseth and Vance belong together.

How much did daddy charge the trafficker for that pardon?

I love that book.
My own life is in difficulty, and as a result this and most other beloved books are packed away, else I’d be reading it right now.
(Not sure I’ve read it all, but every year I read in it. )

How very painful. I’m sorry. May God guide you. And bring you all the support and comfort that you need.

but since our regime leader has forbidden various members of his regime from observing it, and he has cancelled many programs that were working to extend the lives of those suffering, or prevent the spread of the disease, I am posting this to observe the day.

We are poorer culturally and spiritually for each loss, and for the suffering of those who have the disease. It does not matter how obscure or well-known any individual is, their suffering or death impoverishes us in far more than material ways.

I don't usually post about World AIDS Day,
