Took our 10 year old consol up to uni and fired it up. Couldn’t save progress on this so it has to be constantly left on. It’s so difficult.Got to the final boss only to find you had to be using a fairly useless weapon if discarded many levels back. Nearly put me demented

Couldn’t be happier for all involved. Darraghs firm is exemplary to work with

Who’d have thought people with a brain permanently wired a certain way, take medication that helps help them navigate this world for life and don’t choose to suffer as adults

Still thinking about how centrist dad’s idol Marina Hyde opened a discussion about BBC bias re the ‘gender debate’ by saying “people are incredibly upset about male rapists being referred to as women just because of what they decide to call themselves when they enter the prison system”

I have colleagues who say “oh Tim used to be a Tory councillor - well you know what half the people in Britain are Tories so you’ll just have to get used to that”

These two honestly think they are the sensible decent people in the room

I regret to inform you they are still adding this stupid frill to the bottom of dresses, making them out of 100% plastic and charging you over £70 for the privilege. All to avoid using patterns that require darts, that give dresses shape and to ensure they can churn out endless fast fashion.

At least AI written pieces aren’t deliberately pretending that it’s common sense that people on the right aren’t racist and or pretending that they don’t understand what the word ‘woke’ means

Out for a walk on Saturday and remembered a time when my friends from Tipperary that I lived with in Cardiff, came to visit. I was driving past this view on the way to lunch and they roared “STOPPP! How the hell did you not tell us that THIS is where you live?!!!”

Song of the Sea is leaving Netflix soon and it’s a gorgeous Sunday night movie. Halloween appropriate too. It’s such a work of art in every way

Your reminder that people who knit and crochet are artists. Generally women whose work is devalued - artists all

I’ve read the judgement and can see why the statements of paratroopers were difficult to rely on as those taken shortly after the incident were outside established procedures, and then so many were proven to be full of falsehoods via Saville. See below - there were no nail bombs.

This is the evidence given by Joseph Mahon at the trial of Soldier F who wa found not guilty today. He was 16 when he was shot on Bloody Sunday, read it and digest the reality of British Justice when the victims aren’t classed as fully human

Bad day for the rule of law. The state can murder you in front of witness, cameras, frustrate justice for years, oversee destroying evidence and then put it 53 year later before a jury less trial to give themselves the green light about it all. And I have to pay my taxes to fund it

A reminder of who soldier F is. Michael Mansfield’s autobiography has his full examination of him at the Saville enquiry.

I’ve been thinking about what a loss he has been for Ireland and anyone who loved him. This came up on my instagram.
What a dote of a man he was
