So the Bengals challenged a non scoring play that resulted in a Bears TD.

Like, they didn’t score, and OUR challenge got them a TD.

This is the most Bengals thing I have ever seen. 40+ years of fandom and they continue to surprise.

My son could care less about baseball but he loves himself a map. I told him to look up the MLB blackout region map and he’s enthralled.

“What did Iowa do to someone?”

The Siri ui with the glow around the edge of the phone is delightful.

The service itself… notsomuch.

I am curious to see what memory bugs remain practical on iOS with MIE and typed allocators. The fact that memory tags are enforced even in kernel access to userspace memory is going to make use-after-free and buffer overflows extremely hard. security.apple.com/blog/memory-...

A dream would be take a single lap around Monza in a F1 car. I would be screaming the entire way around.

I finally took the mechanical keyboard plunge and I feel equal parts amazing and insufferable at the same time.

Huge game in Columbus today. The flyover F-16s just screamed over my house, two minutes later we see them on tv over the Shoe.

Was behind a 1990s Toyota Celica with historical plates on it at a light.

If you need me I’ll be over there in the corner crying.

Is this like the audio book "reading" equivalent of programming? Kiro is humming along while I focus on the more important task right now: lunch.

Left Skyline coney with sword: New chicken chili.

Right Skyline coney: Classic regular chili.

Classic is still the best, but chicken was solid.

Man talk about a trip down memory lane here. It is crazy how those boot screens are still stored somewhere in the old gray matter, they were instantly recognizable.
New video! This time I mess with a weird sun workstation from the 90s.

I love the course they had for the Paris final of the Tour de France. Also love that Wout won the stage.

I’ve gone totally agentic.

Not only do I have kiro.dev cranking away at porting an old HPC Perl app to modern AWS serverless, I also promoted my son to go out and pick up burritos.

I'm actually kind of impressed with Kiro. The requirements + design + code is an old school vibe, which for someone that is old is fun.

It even got itself all twisted around trying to get dependencies and mocks setup for unit testing that I told it to give up. (So it even acts like a real dev!)

The Kiro thinking icon is adorable. The look on my face was not so adorable when I tried (and failed miserably) to login with Amazon Q Developer Pro.
