Agree. I advise any immigrant with brown or black skin EVEN if born here to carry copies of documents and a "Red Card." Yes, there are hurdles. But this I know: immigrants, regardless of status, who have knowledge have power. Find a local NGO working with Immigrants. They should have info to help. ❤️

First she and every other immigrant regardless of status has constitutional rights the same as anyone living in the U.S. She is covered under the 4th and 5th amendments. Tell her to google Know your rights and she will find good info. And I'm sorry she had to experience that.
