Are you doing it all with swiftui? (gestures n all?)

I've been reverting back to nsview/uiview[representable] to handle complex mixed controls (handling 1000's of elements, drag-select, internal drag&drop, hover, switching render-modes, labels etc)

A generic node editor UI (on top of user-defined types/nodes/etc obvs) has been on my list for so many years (win32, then web, then unity, then webgl, then webxr... now swiftui)

Could this be it? (I've finally made an actual generic timeline UI)

Very against the programmer=techbro thing.

But techbro's should definitely not have power.

I could have integrated into my metal view (in a uiviewrepresentable), but I wanted the code in the same place as tap/drag gesture modifiers

it started as just a pointcloud capture app for iphone/ipad (mac build just as a viewer), to throw into gaussian splat trainers, but it's morphed into a whole editor thing now.

(Basically the game engine side -camera control)

I just wanted rmb drag & mousewheel :)
