OK. I've finally got round to joining @bsky.app . But where's Nathan W Pyle ??
Yes!
But isn't this also an opportunity to make positive appointments?
Defend the BBC with everything you have.

We know how it’s been infiltrated by Tory political appointees but it’s OURS. It’s the only independent media we have left. That’s why they want to destroy it.

Whatever happened to pre-budget purdah?
A reminder:

speculation on the budget is only going to get worse over the next few weeks.

But the Chancellor with NOT confirm anything until she gives her speech in the Commons.

Don't believe anyone who tells you with certainty they know what's in the budget unless it's Rachel Reeves on 26th Nov.

Well said Darren Jones!

It's exactly as I have been saying.

And I know many of you like Darren a lot.

So if you won't listen to me, maybe you'll listen to him?

Did you know that our Labour government are delivering the biggest boost to social housing in a generation?

£39bn investment committed so far.

Isn't that what you all wanted to see?

It's the difference a Labour government makes!

Another good video from Ed!

This time about 5m home upgrades that will happen via the Warm Homes Plan.

And what go the Tories and Reform want? The want to cancel clean energy projects! It's backwards thinking from them.

These are Eurofighters, produced in partnership with the UK, Germany, Spain and Italy.
Why does the UK Press & Government shy away from embracing this?
This would have been a perfect opportunity to acknowledge European cooperation cos Brexiteers would find it difficult to use it for their own ends.

The beginnings of a serious No10 presence here on Bluesky. Hopefully a sign of things to come. The Gov needs to abandon Musk’s toxic cesspit, formerly know as “Twitter”.
For 14 years, public services were left to fall further and further behind the private sector.

We either modernise or accept further decline.

We will build the foundations for a modern British state — so that our public services are there for the next generation.

The Sure Start programme was revolutionary - the data shows it.

The Tories closed many of them down.

But Labour are bringing them back through the new Family Hubs.

That, Bylines, is rubbish, and either you know it and are doing crude party politics under the guise of journalism. Or you don't understand the pathway back to Europe.

Attacking and calling for Jess Phillips to resign feels like a new low in politics.

She has been working with vulnerable and exploited women years before she was even an MP. She has carried on that great work since.

She’s one of the good ones.
