and actually train travel is a great opportunity to think about what goes wrong with digital-first services. Buy your ticket online, have it on your phone - so far so good - it's then your responsibility to have a charged phone to prove you have a ticket. Why is there no record of this transaction?

You won’t be able to get it on the NHS before 65 unless you are immunocompromised. Otherwise when you turn 65 or 70 or are 70 to 79 years old, but do always check for up to date info on the NHS websites for your home nation. It made me feel like 💩 but I think it was worth getting it.

20s in a pound, 12d in a shilling. If you grew up with it, it was easy. Also can do exact division by 1/3 and 1/6 as base 12, eg 1/3 of £1 is 6s 8d.

Guinea prices weren’t used except in expensive shops for furniture etc. A Guinea was £1 1s, there were
no actual Guinea coins when I was growing up (stopped in 1814!) .12d in a shilling not 12p.
