It doesn't actually direct taxes though. Public education is allocated centrally pooled tax funding through a per pupil formula.

When I criticized a bad Liberal policy to the Liberals, they didn't listen. I took my criticism to my MP, a certain Poilievre and he wouldn't even listen to (never mind act upon) criticism of bad Liberal policy.
