went back. felt less doom
a wrought-iron square metal pedestrian bridge held up with concrete supports over a large river. the concrete is streaked with brown water stains and graffiti. the valley treeline surrounding the river banks is splotched with grasses, bushes, and aspens all different mixtures of green, mahoganys, yellows, and reds. the sky is overcast a hole in overcast sky reveals a blue sky. below the hole is a small factory in the distance with thin smokestacks. in the foreground in a grey-ish blue-ish river lined with bushes and trees composed of autumnal colours an upward hillside in the wilderness. the foreground is dense with yellow and pink-ish reddish foliage of various short types, with larger evergreen trees poking out farther behind. the sky is cloudy yet blue under a blue sky with clouds parting, a river valley opens its mouth and disappears into the horizon line where a square pedestrian bridge is just barely visible. the river is a perfect reflection. the banks of the river are the perfect autumn scene, with the yellowed leaves of aspen trees spread across the entire valley and all sorts of dense brush up to the ankles

happy halloween to all those who celebrate by burning aliens with a flamethrower then throwing them into the cold void of space
grace the feminine anthropomorphic reptile dressed up as Ripley from the Alien series. she has pale sandy skin, ears dotted with piercings and chains, and she has a determined look on her face. around her shoulders is crumbs the orange-creamsicle-patterned cat, sticking his tongue out at something off-camera. grace is wearing a dark leather-y jumpsuit with pink-grey-cream coloured patches all over. underneath the jumpsuit she is wearing a cream-coloured dress shirt, and under that is a simple hot-pink sweater. her tail and arms are covered in a light heart pattern, and her tail has a simple thagomizer at the end. with one large strap slung over one shoulder, grace holds a large incinerator flamethrower that is an amalgamation of the design of the guns from multiple movies. the gun is stocked with two canisters (one grey and one red), tubing, buttons and dials, chambers, and mechanical / functional machined etchings. at the end of the gun, a small flame flickers out of the igniter.

the humble somno's favourite album
picture of the cassette version of "Sleepcycle" by Shampoo. the rave case for the tape depicts a red, black, white, and blue cover composed of bubbles + membrane covering the abstracted bodies of two women sleeping gently on one another, covered by text that says the album title and artist name in a graphic-designerly box. the clear tape has the info plastered on with a white pad print, including name, title, and tracklist (numbers 1-5 in japanese kana). the tape is leaned up against a white-and-black Fiio branded walkman with aux cord sticking out. all these elements sit on top of a clear record player cover, and behind that is a lamp with an edison bulb, a strawberry begonia, and a trail map hung up on the close wall.

quick and dirty journal comic
a seven panel comic in black and white pencil on paper. panel 1: "i remember those holes" - pictured are multiple stone holes on a floor disappearing into darkness panel 2: "the ones on the beach" - grace the reptile in a jacket, back turned, looks down at one of the holes in the stone beach panel 3: "filled with cold water" - waves lap over the holes panel 4: "i'd imagine swimming in" - grace's head is seen from the perspective of inside the hole, wavy as she looks inside panel 5: "getting stuck inside" - a hand reached up from the hole, bubbles form, as the hand reaches towards the water's surface panel 6: "drowning in darkness" - grace is seen reaching up as she closes her eyes, falling into the dark of the hole panel 7 (wide): "these thoughts of mine are not worth pursuing." - grace sleeps in a pyramid tent by the wet beach under the dark of night and the crescent moon [should also say "24/9/2025 - g.i.e." but i didn't put it there before i took the photo so Whatever :•P ]
