Some Man'o'War today! I scraped a win, my Chaos Dwarfs scoting 19 Battle Honours vs the 15 my Dwarf opponent got.

Its one of the first wargames I ever got so I have a lot of warm feelings for it.

I'm not dignifying this with Alt Text. Just know that JK Rowling in 13/03/24 took to X The Everything App (Everything Includes Fascism) and attempted to mock someone for saying the nazis persecuted trans people and burnt books about them, something which is a documented fact but Ol' Jowling thinks "might've been a fever dream"

As someone who has had to reconsider himself as Disabled in recent years - and grapple with some internalised ableism - seeing some of the slogans and realising they are only a step or two removed from some Daily Mail comment pieces really hit me

Text translates as follows "This person who suffers a hereditary disease has a lifelong cost of 60,000 Reichsmarks to the National Community. Fellow German, that is your money as well." The Imperial War Museum has a very powerful Holocaust exhibit where all the many groups who suffered are discussed - and I found myself crying at the section on Aktion T4, the Nazi operation to forcibly execute every physically or mentally disabled person to stop them "polluting the bloodline"

When I went to the Imperial War Museum in February I saw this poster - a slogan I knew from a UK Nr 1 single in 1998 but had never seen the original of.

With everything going on, that slogan suddenly meant something much more powerful and personal to me.

Good fun today with some #BloodBowl 7s warmup games - in which Vampires, Skaven, Imperial Nobility and Gnomes all turned up.

The smaller pitch, smaller model count and slightly less turns all make 7s game fly quite quickly

This is a character I never had a toy of before - but he's now living here in Glasgow and reuniting with a few old friends from his Cybertron/Ark days.
Seaspray in robot mode - a blue, white and yellow robot. He has big blue feet (with his hovercraft cabin window showing on his toes) and arms; yellow legs and head; and a white chest. He has a red autobot badge on his lower torso. He is holding a blaster pistol in each hand and ponting to camera Seaspray in Vehicle Mode - a hovercraft with blue front section and hovercraft bottom/edges, a white body and yellow engine with blue rotors. Seaspray standing on a bookshelf that has DVDs on it. To Seaspray's left is Cosmos, a green robot with yellow pelvis/arms and a red head. To Seaspray's right is Beachcomber, a robot witih blue arms/calves/feet/head and grey torso and thighs. They are posed as though Beachcomber has one arm on Seaspray 's shoulder and is looking at him.
