I just fear that certain opinions of others might ruin mine. I know everything I've said here sounds immature, but that's sorta how I feel

What I mean is some people might think that because a reviewer has one singular bad/mediocre take on a piece of media, that suddenly means all their takes are awful. That's not always the case in reality.

But the con (and this is kind of a significant con): I'm surrounded by opinions I don't agree with.
Which I understand does happen, but I fear that my positive opinions on certain things may be ruined by other people's negative/critical opinions.

And yes that includes reposts (I've decided that just now)

With the path Disney is going down, I wouldn't be surprised if people are beginning to distance themselves from Disney. I myself have been mostly distancing myself from them over the past few months

I get that there are some cases in which you can't like J.K Rowling, in which she actively uses the money she gets from the Harry Potter franchise to fund anti-trans legislation.
