they also always completely mess up all the m customisation options for no good reason. the photo i have as my home screen wallpaper is now completely unusable because they removed the option to adjust the brightness of wallpaper - you have to just directly edit the photo i guess??

i think the transparency effects and excessive animations in iphone UIs are absolutely horrible for readability and the fact that an iOS update automatically re-enables all of them is infuriating. redesigning all the icons is also so unnecessary!! it makes my phone hard to use!!! i hate it!!!!!

the tribunal noted the second respondent never wanted to pursue any legal action. yet she was involved in one anyway, and has been exposed to substantial unwanted scrutiny and media hostility. i can't see any possibility other than that this coverage will make people more anxious & afraid long term

obviously i defer to your expert opinion on this, but still, i can't help but feel really worried about it. it still contributes to an atmosphere in which the inclusion of trans people is seen to inherently cause HR problems, legal trouble and bad press.

the ruling also makes reference to some plainly disgusting behaviour on the part of the claimant's representation. they were deliberately cruel and malicious towards Dr Upton during cross examination and presentation of evidence, so much that some of their questioning had to be withdrawn

breaking your *heart, ugh. the reference which the nurse made to Isla Bryson is particularly fucked. i can't imagine being this calm and reasonable if someone started to harass me while minding my own business and ask what my chromosomes were, and then directly compare me to a rapist.
