After Greenie's launch I've been looking to make another AI identifier to use everything I learnt.

So here is BirdScout!
A bird identifier where you can see all bird information, take notes, mark spot location...

Would really appreciate if you can leave a rating. Link below!

New update of Greenie just launched!

It includes smart watering schedule for your plants, watering reminders and notifications, plant nicknames, list view and filtering for the garden and much more.

Wow, so many new followers from yesterday's post! Welcome, everyone 🤓

I'm now integrating the new watering tracking functionality into Greenie. Which approach do you think is better, A or B? I believe B is clearer and offers a better UI.

Update the app to enjoy the new category: "Geography"! More new stuff coming soon...

At the core of this upgrade is our graph-based routing system. We model each station as a node with subnodes for each platform, and every connection as weighted edges. Here’s Bilbao station in Madrid, where 2 lines converge. There are stations with 4 lines, the complexity skyrockets!

Today, Metrociego is a complete route planner. The app now guides you from one station to another with step-by-step instructions for every transfer. Every detail is covered to keep you on track. 🚉

This is the next chapter of Metrociego Madrid. Originally, our app helped visually impaired users navigate stations, guiding them from platform to exit and between platforms during transfers. With 1000+ monthly users, we knew it was time to plan full journeys. Let's dive in! 🧵

I’ve just launched a new app! It’s called Quizquake. It's a super lightweight game where you go head-to-head with a friend to see who answers faster. The first to win 3 rounds wins the game!

Been experimenting with MeshGradient for the background of the recommendation reasons in Leisurist. So far, it looks pretty neat—might stick with it!

Just improved Leisurist’s recommendations! Now they come with 3 reasons why each suggestion might be perfect for you. Almost ready for release—can’t wait for you to try it!

165 new followers since June might not seem like much, but to me, it’s a big deal. This is just the beginning—new updates and apps are on the way. Thanks for being part of the journey!

The last Leisurist update is here! After weeks of fighting with SwiftData, widgets are now live—track and mark the next episode of your favorite series directly from your home screen.

Update now and give it a try! Let me know what you think!

Currently, I'm working on a Dijkstra-based algorithm to show users the fastest route between locations, ensuring everything is super accessible. As always, accessibility has been one of the top priorities when building this app. It's still in its early stages:
November 25, 2024 at 8:30 PM
Since then, I’ve implemented various features like extensive accessibility settings, app notification adjustments, real-time location tracking, and background audio playback for directions instead of relying on VoiceOver.

Currently, Metrociego Madrid covers over 150 stations, including all the complex interchange stations where multiple lines converge. Our app is used by more than 1000 active users each month.
November 25, 2024 at 8:30 PM
However, there was a challenge: any text update required an app update, causing delays. So, I started developing an API to manage content remotely. This led to Metrociego Madrid 3.0, featuring a major redesign and a complete rewrite of the app. We were so excited!
November 25, 2024 at 8:30 PM
Shortly after, I started developing the first functional prototype. In June 2021, we launched with 30 stations of Madrid’s metro, out of 276.
November 25, 2024 at 8:30 PM
We launched a Kickstarter campaign to buy a Mac, essential for developing an iOS app, the most accessible mobile OS. We reached the goal in under 3 weeks!

This is the story of Metrociego Madrid, an app designed to help visually impaired people navigate the Madrid Metro.

It's a journey of innovation, accessibility, and community support.

Read on to learn how we grew from an idea to helping over 1000 active users each month.🧵⬇️
